Owner/Executive Chef - Madiba Restaurant
After his 1987 United States arrival, Mark Henegan opened Madiba Restaurant in Brooklyn in 1999 and has since continued the tradition of bringing home cooking from South African kitchens to New York tables

Having managed the creative vision and brand craft for Madiba Restaurant since 2010, Ruen facilitates harmony in the Harlem business, lending credence to product, business and creative design, ensuring the most striking brand presence

 

Nicolas Matias Delsart

Chef de Cuisine
Nicolas, a Buenos Aires, Argentinian native with a French Basque and Spanish-Italian background has had the privilege of having worked in distinct and international cuisine across the United States.  He brings his decade long NYC experience from spots like Industry Food, Mesa Grill, Dahlia Lounge (Seattle) and Felix  to Madiba Harlem.

Natasha Becker

Curator at Large
Cape Town born, Natasha specializes in contemporary art from South Africa and has more than five years experience managing programs and cultivating local and international partnerships. As our inaugural curator, Natasha will work closely with Mark Henegan to conceptualize dynamic visual arts and audience engagement programs, creating a new destination for the arts at Madiba Harlem.
